Privacy Policy
Applies to ExtraExtra and any future apps published by this developer on Apple platforms.
Summary
ExtraExtra does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to the developer. It is a client app: it connects directly from your device to the RSS/feed sync service you choose to use, and no data passes through, or is visible to, the developer at any point.
Account credentials
If you sign in to a GReader-compatible service (such as BazQux, FreshRSS, Miniflux, or The Old Reader), your username and password are sent directly from your device to that service's own servers to authenticate you. They are never sent to, or seen by, the developer. If you choose to save your credentials, they are stored only in your device's encrypted Keychain.
Feed and article data
Article content, read/unread status, and saved articles are synced directly between your device and the feed service you configured. If you use "Add feeds manually," the app fetches those RSS feeds directly from the sites that publish them. In both cases, this data does not pass through any server operated by the developer.
Third-party services
Any RSS sync service you connect to (BazQux, FreshRSS, Miniflux, The Old Reader, a self-hosted server, or any other GReader-compatible service) is operated independently of this app and has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data. Please review that service's policy separately.
Analytics, tracking, and advertising
This app contains no analytics, no tracking, no crash-reporting SDKs, and no advertising of any kind.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a revised date below.
